Yeshiva K’tana opened its doors in September 2000 to Yeshiva children.  Now in its tenth year, the Yeshiva boasts a student body of 300 boys and girls from Nursery to Eighth Grade.  As the only Jewish Day School within a 25 mile radius, the Yeshiva serves communities as far as Litchfield, CT.

As you enter the school building, you are immediately surrounded by the sights and sounds of students learning.  The bright bulletin boards proudly display students’ work.  The smiling faces of the children as they come to school are a testament to the warm atmosphere of Yeshiva K’tana.

Yeshiva K’tana offers a rigorous curriculum in both Kodesh subjects as well as General Studies.   We pride ourselves on having Rebbeim, Morahs and teachers who put their hearts and souls into developing all aspects of their students’ growth. This includes developing fine character traits and learning a broad spectrum of skills aside from the core curriculum.

The Rabbeim, Morahs and teachers continuously look to improve the quality of their teaching with in-service days and educational workshops to stay up to date on educational methods and current issues.  The enthusiasm that they display for their profession in turn motivates their students to achieve.  The personal attention that each child receives ensures that each one will learn and grow in Torah, Middos and general education.
